Normally, patio heater gas is a more useful option for long-term use, compared to portable outdoor electric heaters. The latter would usually require being plugged into an extension cable and on a rainy day, that could be an inconvenience. In comparison, patio heater gas can be kept outdoors for longer periods, but you may want to pack the cylinders away in colder months.
The handiness of our patio heater gas cylinders and patio heater gas bottles to a large extent depends on the size. Usually, a table-top gas patio heater would be connected to their gas cylinder using a hose fitted through the middle of the table. It is portable and can be easily disconnected.
